Swim Lessons
Spring Clinics: The Upper Merion Aquatic Club is proud to offer several five week aquatic programs serving both beginning and experienced swimmers and divers - Monday, April 20, 2009 through Friday, May 22, 2009
Small Group Lessons: Cost $75 - For beginning and novice swimmers five years of age and up.
- Mon., Wed. & Thurs., 5:30-6:00, 6:00-6:30 or 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Team Training: Cost $45 - For returning Marlins.
- Mon., Wed., & Thurs., 7:00-8:00 p.m. (10 and under)
- Mon., Wed., & Thurs., 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. (11 and up)
Diving Lessons: Cost $75 - For new divers.
- Tues., 5:30-6:15 or 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.
Diving Clinic: Cost $50 - For experienced divers
DIVING DRYLAND: Coach Jess has organized a diving “dryland” program, to be offered through Aerials Gymnastics in Phoenixville, to help all divers – experienced and novice – work on their skills. The class will focus on diving basics and dryland techniques (As any dive coach will tell you, there’s only so far you can go in this sport without getting into the gym!) This 9 week class starts on Thursday, April 23, from 7 – 8:30 PM at Aerials Gymnastics in Phoenixville. Cost will be about $190 (including a registration fee for the gym). REGISTRATION FOR SWIM AND DIVING LESSONS: Thursday, April 16, 2009, 5:30-7:00pm @ Upper Merion High School Pool. All swimmers should come to registration prepared to get in the water, as they will be tested and assigned to an appropriate group according to ability.
Space is limited to assure proper student/instructor ratios.
Please print the appropriate registration form and accompanying waiver, available in the Programs section in preparation for registration on April 16.
REGISTRATION FOR TEAM TRAINING: Returning Marlins (only) may pre-register for Team Training by mail. The registration forms with instructions for mailing, are available in the Programs section. Returning Marlins may also register in person on April 16th as shown above if space is still available.
